Sumptin’ Scientific began in 2025 with one simple goal: make science exciting, understandable, and fun for everyone. I’m Jason Sumpter — a husband, father, and molecular biologist who’s spent years teaching, researching, and creating content to help people see the wonder in the world around them.

After working in research labs, college classrooms, and online education, I saw a need for science content that could be accurate and engaging — the kind that makes you smile while you learn something new. That’s why I started Sumptin’ Scientific: to help others learn, share fascinating facts, quirky experiments, and the “aha!” moments that turn curiosity into understanding.
